The local Santa Barbara South Coast real estate market is outperforming 2019 in sales volume, price and marketing time for single family homes. January booked the highest median sales price in 8 months and 10% fewer homes were for sale vs. a year ago. The sweet spot in our market continues to be between $1.0MM to $1.8MM. With inventory down and a mere 3.23 months supply of homes from Goleta to Carpinteria, the market favors sellers on the whole. Trends vary from neighborhood to neighborhood, of course.
